The Poet Community

A Found Voice | A Poem by Rakemia Shanu

I found my voice at age 8 my feelings place on paper being rejoice for I knew my direction in making the right choice;
My voice I found from what was knew as a great sound as I begin to take it serious to spread the word getting to individuals to relate in their ears to be heard — Never was I seen as a nerd whomever referred. So outspoken, unique, simply one of a kind rare who’s hard to find. As I speak/write what’s on my mind define as sexy, strong and fine… For now I will take a moment to rewind sit back with a glass of wine… Peace.
