The Poet Community

Poster Child | A Poem by Tempest Brew

the child is paper-thin
only the appearance of crisp
what really matters
is the message below
the innocent picture,
a message declaring the war
is done, the face appearing
young and yet somehow
conveying inchoate malice.

A thousand apologies for the extreme tardiness of this response; the AntiPoetry site had been on extended hiatus. Anyhow, would like to go ahead and use your submissions now. Just curious, do you have a new blog address? The former one no longer works.

Good work here BTW – reminds everyone of someone in particular!
