The Poet Community

Growth | A Poem by Tempest Brew

we scratch, yearn, grow,
a small form that begins
in the lower part of
my back,
tickling me like a lover,
like a spider,
crawls up my spine,
takes over my mind,
fixing my eye to growth,
some anomaly in me.
