Jabber Sock | A Poem by Russ Cope

The jabber sock with eyes
aflame came walkling
with no boos on in the kitchen.
I ate a mushroom that was
supposed to make
me smaller or taller
but it only made sicker.
When brillig comes, we’re
walking on cold tiles again.
