A Whispered Hush | A Poem by Ken Allan Dronsfield

Lavender hues with reds and blues;
Secrets held in a whispered hush.
She sneaks away now, given the cue;
The sky exploding in a flurried crush.

For the sun keeps her secret
hidden away within the night.
But the twilight holds her promise…
until the breaking dawn’s first light.
