Ziggy Stardust is playing that guitar
like never before high above
amongst the glistening stars
floating in eternity.
Playing those heavenly tunes
voice echoing in the cosmos
chilling out with Major Tom
rocking through space
Heading to mars to see if
there’s any life,
an enigma of character
morphing from one to another.
Finally becoming a spaceman
playing the first gig in the skies
whilst below we listen with joy.
