The Poet Community

Small Poems | By Rebecca Cowgill

spring horizon
waves lap the shore
making your decision

on the cool wind
in a blistery breeze
our last conversation

in a book
pressed roses
our wedding souvenir

fading memories
a roller coaster crash
tears us apart

in a wintry breeze
snowflakes float
winter horizon

morning dew
one for sorrow
a bee without a sting

traffic lights
out of order
seeing one side

over the rainbow
a smile on your face
eye of the storm

in the music of spring
the dance of love

spring horizon
celebrating our love
expecting twins
