When you think you have guts
You show it to others in your
Taking them on in ways they
Hardly have estimated
Before, till now, this feat opens
Up their eyes to the truth of
Your not being the cool or cowardly
Kind that they passed you for,
For there dawns for them their
New knowledge about you and
What challenges you would ever
Care for a fig and lay flat their
Foolish account of you as gutless.
