The Poet Community

Curl | A Poem by Cattail Jester

My love is the curl
that spurts out tiny scalp

A child peeking at me
while I slurp at a beer

My love is the ringlet
dancing in the open air

Before the toddler tucks
itself back into its seat

My love is the playful
twist of life’s fabric.
