The Poet Community

Dreams | A Poem by Sir Kristian Goldmund Aumann

Our frozen thoughts go on travel.
Where are the dreams of a just world?
An inaudible touch, snow falls on the bank,
And the hoped Yesterday has broken down.
Our frozen thoughts go on travel.
Where are our dreams of warmth and security?
Practise patience, sharing small moments,
Pause, each in his own way —
Not always have to stay more,
Therein lies the strength of our past dreams, perhaps.
