A Crimson Moment | A Poem by Shekhar Dev

Sleepless nights draw
The eyes of exhausted lust,
Sharp black gathering in bright vein;
If the star drops out apparently,
Eternal huff plays in the great dark.

The gallinule that disappeared in the thicket;
Who sings a tune of lament for her?
As you have air and water in flower of heart,
Search new passion as you can.

The mornings become bright with fresh life,
Sparkling sunshine gives diamond raves,
The fight for the future forgetting the back tune of separation
As if swords count only a crimson moment.
