Forgotten Dreams | A Poem by Chris Byrne

Long lost dreams; broken
memories, slowly
forgotten over time,
vaguely recalling those
shattered dreams, ideas.

Forever gone, ever present
waiting to resurface, just
there playing in the
background, never seeing
nor realizing, eyes shut.

Closed off, locked away,
hidden keys never found
until needed, Dreams
finally seen, remembered,
no longer forgot.

Just there, seeing
them right where
you left them.
