The Poet Community

Simple Wish | A Poem by Changming Yuan

Rather than a popular singer
To win applause and money
As his song is absorbed by walls
And clothes among audiences

I would be a lonely screamer
Standing on a hill top
Screaming at the very
Top of my voice

For an echo
In the depth of the valley
